everlasting battle.

Since I did get help on the last poem I will write one that is a random poem about something relating to hotel rwanda.

                                           Everlasting battle- michael cannon
Time is in the way,
It is so hard to say,
That on this day,
I will make my life a better place to stay,
Due to the conundrum on a frightful night,
Where all we do is fight,
It just don't feel right,
That it all ends here tonight,
Just too much on my mind,
Guns just blazing by,
Im so scared tonight,
That it will be my last night.
Tired of being right,
I hope its the final night,
Where there is no fright,
When will it end?
Will i ever see a happy day again?

This poem to me reminds me of my papa who was very influential to me. The reasoning for me writing it for him was because he still is very special to me and even though he is dead he is still with me also because he fought in World War II and I have been told that the people who fought in it thought it would never stop. Trying to push yet always being at a stand still. My grandpa was a good soldier and an even greater man. For this I wrote him this poem for him to always be remembered by me.

  4. I like the back ground to the poem but we really need to practice NOT saying something is meaningful... but rather describe HOW it is meaningful. Do you ever feel like this or is it just you putting yourself in your grandfather's shoes?
